Welcome to Squirrels!
Squirrels is for boys and girls aged 4 and 5. We meet on Thursdays 4.30 - 5.30pm at our Wadsley HQ from September 2025 onwards! Squirrels is tailored for eager adventurers who love to learn through play and games, making lots of new friends along the way. Our motto is: - We do our best to be kind and helpful. - We love our world. Because our squirrels are young and precious, parents get to stay too, sharing smiles and making memories together. We do our best to keep costs as low as possible. Subs are paid termly and are £40. That works out at just over £2 per week. Get involved! If your child would love to come to squirrels, please click on Join! If we have a waiting list... When we have spaces for new members, we take the next child on the list. What's on?
To see your child's programme, please log into Online Scout Manager. We email your log in details when your child joins. Uniform and Badges
Uniform can be bought from Scout and Guide Shop online - or at our local branch on Trippet Ln, Sheffield City Centre, S1 4EL (0114 270 1752). The squirrels uniform is a red sweater with an emerald & yellow necker. Badges are provided by leaders when they've been earned, so parents don't need to buy any. The image shows where each badge belongs. 
Financial Hardship
We try to make squirrels as affordable as possible. Financial hardship should not stop any child from joining in weekly activities or weekend events. We've a fund available to support families who are experiencing hardship. If this would help to make sure that your child doesn't miss out on a moment of adventure, please chat to our friendly squirrels leader. |

Did you know that you can earn learning credits for Children's University at 150th? Check out our 150th Children's University flyer.
If your child wants to earn Children's University credits, email a picture of the first page of their passport (this needs to be fully completed and signed) along with the child's name, date of birth, which day and section they are in (or about to join) and the school they attend to [email protected].
Credits start from the term the passport is received so make sure you send it as soon as it is signed. Any questions? If so, email [email protected].
