For young people over 14, there’s two Explorer units: Monday and Wednesday.
Meetings alternate between Wadsley and venues such as The Foundry Climbing Centre or Laser Quest. Many Explorers also develop their leadership (and CVs) by being a young leader with Beavers, Cubs or Scouts.
Explorers have a greater say in the events and weekends that they do, and play the major part in running the expeditions.
The Explorers communicate mainly via Facebook
Subs for Explorers are £44 per term, paid by Online Scout Manager. Subs pay for most activities and the running costs of the unit.
Explorers have a different bank account to the rest of the group. If you did need to write a cheque, please make it payable to 'Hallam District Scout Council'
