If payment is not received within 10 days, we'll send a reminder. After a further 14 days, in the unlikely event that payment has still not been made, the child's membership is terminated.
If financial difficulties are being experienced by the family, then parents should get in touch. We do have a discretionary fund which can help with the cost of scouting, but only know there's an issue if you get in touch via [email protected]
We are also willing to discuss alternatives if there are reasons why the termly direct debit payment won't work for your child. Get in touch with [email protected]
Please keep us up to date with your email address at all times as this is the main way we have of contacting you. You can update any contact details on your MySCOUT account at www.onlinescoutmanager.co.uk or by emailing [email protected].
For information on setting up your subs payment, please visit you MySCOUT account or email [email protected] to receive a personalised link.

My child is new to the group. When do I start paying?
New members to the group get a trial period to check they like it. After your Child starts with the Group or a new section, you will receive an email with instructions on setting up your subs payments. The first payment will be due up to one month from the start of that term (1st Feb, 1st May or 1st Oct). If your child doesn't want to stay, simply let us know and we can cancel the direct debit before the payment is due. There is no charge if they leave within the first few weeks. If your child does stay, the first payment covers the first few weeks too.
Each member will need a Direct Debt setup for '150th Subs' and for 'Camps & Events'.
Currently, new Direct Debts must be set up if your child moves sections or nights. We hope that this will be changed by OSM in the near future.
